^^ just what i'm expecting. i can't play arma2 mp with decent fps, and i guess l44 won't run much better. if the multiplayer wouldn't use ai, it might perform well.
i tried the invasion44 mod and was disappointed because most of the scenarios crawl at 20-30fps most of the time, regardless of settings. i tried turning down everything including the resolution (i hate doing that), and it didn't help a bit. it's just too heavy on the cpu. creating and testing small skirmishes in the editor is a great way to kill some time though.

The bolting animation for the Mosin actually looks rather decent. Though when he switches to the scoped one his hand clips right through the scope.
![]() The vehicle damage model is also much better, at least from a visual standpoint. So it looks like there are some improvements, but again, not very much. |

I like what i've seen so far with the weapons and equipment. The recoil on SMG's looks pretty light but it depends how it all comes together with the general gameplay. Main problems I see is the lack of English media..They really limit their potential playerbase with stuff like that.
I haven't seen much to do with gameplay and objectives. I'll keep an eye on it but I doubt i'll purchase it right away without more info and a sense it will be played outside their home country |

Melipone's got a point, while im probably picking this up regardless (no language barrier since im Russian fluent), it would be nice to see this game get more exposure in the West. It seems a lot of good games come out of Russia and Ukraine these days but many of them are only played there
And lucky for me the whole WWII thing is still a big genre there, while we have moved on to the whole modern warfare/shoot Russians/Arabs thing.

Well, my brother likes ArmA2 a lot and he would like it more if it was set in ww2 so... we'll have to get Iron Front, by the looks of it, even if I personally, if I was alone, wouldn't buy it.
I already have ArmA2 and I barely like that, and this looks like the exact same game. Rolled up sleeves though. Rolled up sleeves. *smokespipeandstaresintodistance*

This. All I can say is even with RO2 maxed out, some of the textures look rather bad.

Here is your answer:
''As we see,Iron Front game differs a lot from Arma 2 game,on witch it's based. Iron Front: Liberation 1944 Part 1 ("Weapons and Infantry") +Eng.Sub - YouTube

Yes, the same video posted earlier this page. You repeat that it differs from ARMA 2 like a mantra. Can't you see that the mechanics, sound and animation assets are very similar and/or reused from OA?
Though I have to say the new vehicle damage system, or at least what has been shown so far impresses me. |

Yes, yes... listen, maybe it's the language barrier, but you basically told us, without a context where this would fit in, to play Modern Warfare 3 and get better computers. I don't know what prompted you to post this, but there was nothing there that would make this make sense, in my opinion. So there's that.
Further, you keep telling us how different Iron Front is from ArmA2 but even the awkwardly-tumbling-lowering-yourself-to-pick-stuff-up animation is the same. Don't just refer us to the same video over and over! A video in which we see basically nothing but ArmA2 with ww2 assets. Maybe the narrator sheds some light on key differences, but a majority of us will never know because we don't speak Russian! Could you instead just try and post a couple of these differences that really, really make this a different game than a ww2 mod for ArmA2? I don't imagine it's going to be easy, but at least it's more productive than hurling unprovoked, barely legible, passive-aggressive insults at us.
