Default Most realistic millitary sims

what are the most realistic military sims in your opinion?

i think:

WWII Air: IL2 Sturmovik series (love it, who else plays it?)

WWII Land: RO (of course)

WWII Naval: Silent Hunt III

Modern Air: Lock On, Falcon 4

Modern Land: Operation Flashpoint series

Modern Naval: Fleet Commander, Dangerous Water

Def IL2 for best WWII air simulation, I freaking love that game (its uninstalled at the moment but I still play).
And I agree with RO and Operation Flashpoint, the rest I have not played.

I would be on H&D2 point. SP when played with realistical way is really something you don´t feel often.

Well to be honest, OFP can be used to create battles from 1800´s to futuristic stuff. Even from some sword-and-axe stuff when you just get proper addons

What about the Close Combat series! Even the USMC and the RAF Regiment use it for tactical training.

I'd throw a vote in for Rainbow Six Raven Shield for Counter-Terrorist realism.

WWIIOL for the best combined sim. It may not be perfect, but it has an air, inf, tank, and to a degree naval sim in game with over 20,000km of map to play on.

Full Spectrum Warrior.

Somewhat *movieish* game, but it is good sim in modern squadleading stuff. Similiar to Brothers in Arms.

Great Game. The Direct Control (or whatever it is called) is a good feature.
