Default Tracers

1. In single - shot mode the mg34 shows no tracers. Also, the sound is quite different, lacking the bass of the full auto or something.

2. I'm not sure about ww2, but I heard that tracers don't light up until they have flown a certain distance - making it harder for an enemy to pinpoint whoever is doing the shooting. Currently it seems tracers light up close to the barrel.

Regarding point number 2, there are several different types of tracers. yes, there are tracers that light up after a certain distance as to not give away the shooter's position, but the ones in RO are tracers that light up as soon as they are fired, which is historically accurate.

Umm please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the bullet had to travel in the air for a while for the Phosphorus to catch on fire and illuminate the bullet.

true but there are still different types of tracer, and americans use phosphorus, germans and russians each use something different. and i you acutaly look at a MGer you see the tracer starting near the ammo drum if anything.
