Default KF-TheEndangered Trial (Jumping/Park-our) Map Part 1 (Final)

Well i played Lethal Vortex's Trial maps and i thought of making my own Trial maps, So heres my First Trial map. Please tell me what you think guys, and thanks

you will also need CoolMusic.UAX **PUT THAT FILE IN YOUR SOUNDS FOLDER IN KILLINGFLOOR!!!!!!**

It wont work for me.
i go to host and i cant see the map.
i select another map then start it and kill myself
then i can she the map and i vote for it but it always chose a difrent map

did you download the coolmusic.uax and put it in your sounds folder?
and put ALL the textures in your textures folder?

download this and put it in the Texture folder http://www.2shared.com/file/ptNkQfqA/myLevel.html

why dont you save the sounds and textures in 'mylevel' instead of separate packages?

i think maybe you are doing something wrong, you shouldnt end up with mylevel.utx, mylevel is supposed to indicate the textures and stuff saving within the map itself, not a separate package.

i saved myLevel.utx as a seperate texture package.

(i named it mylevel.utx)

btw: im just to lazy to do all of that :\

Nice man. i was hoping to see more trial maps. thank you for making this i be trying it out anyway try saving textures into mylevel inside the map its not hard to do. just make a map call package MyLevel apply texture to wall save level done. its inside ur map then! also dit u use Doompawnskf by marco if not how does the respawn system work? i might make tutorial on how to make trials map!

theres um no re spawn system in this one but i am adding one in my part 2 trial map

btw: im making my next one extra hard

This. Much quicker and less painful saving them within the map.

Also it seems like you are using textures from non-offical package so ppl get an error. I had the same problem not long ago altho I used a menu texture which I assumed would work but guess not.

Saving content into mylevel.utx instead of it being inside the level will generate havoc on the engine. In a nutshell, the engine will ALWAYS parse mylevel.utx since it's a basic pseudopackage that gets attached, normally, to the map. Whenever a map loads, the engine will attempt to load mylevel from the map itself but if mylevel.utx exists in the structure it will load that instead. If a map has been correctly setup with the assets inside the map, there will never be a reason to save the package mylevel.utx. I'd strongly suggest moving the content to another package. Ideally, imbedded in the map.

Here is some supporting documentation... albeit a touch dated. It's still holds true.
