Please be specific, there ony seems to be one very complicated way to do anything in this sdk. How do I make the following image 100% opaque on the curtain and 100% transparent on the not curtain stuff? no one seems to know, but I know it is possible since other maps do it.

Either make everything you need to be 100% transparent black (0, 0, 0) and check "Masked" when you import the texture (black really has to be 0, 0, 0 black for it to work!), or just make a 32-bit .tga with everything you want transparent transparent and then import it and check "Alpha".

I made two versions of the texture for you to try it.
