Default Doors!

A few problems with my doors:

a. zombies cant seem to open them or for some reason the zombies are actually clsing the door.

b. some of my doors have a wierd redish tint to them, the texture in the browser does not, and its not the lighting.

c. I can't weld the door. I mean, it welds but I see no weld progress bar and it still opens without weld

d. how do i increase the use readius of the door trigger? right now, its a tiny little spot but it needs to be bigger.

e. when i get the above fixed, will the door explode when the zombies decrease the weld to 0?

a. what type of mover are you useing for your door? and how do you have it set up? also Does your Door have a default CollisionModel set or no?

b.can you post a screenshot please?

c. mmm sounds like you have a thick door. this tends to happen with this doors =(, try increasing the properties->collision->collisionradius of the KFUseTrigger

d.go to Properties->Collision->CollisionRadius and edit that...

e. mmmm the door will explode as long as what caused the weld to go downto 0 was damage and NOT a unweld damnagetype =)

lol, dude you'll get so many more answers if you put this in "level design"

3d and animation doesnt really refer to movers (doors, etc) it is about 3d models (like the guns and static meshes) and animated meshes (the helicopter/scaffolding tarp in west london, etc.)

go into offices and see how their doors are done, plus you might get ideas about other things. remember to check the properties of them closely. i think the doors have dynamiclightmover enabled... i cant remember (makes the door's lighting change as it opens/closes)

how do we tell a moderator to move a thread?

Sounds to me like he's using a regular trigger instead of a KFusetrigger.
Without a KFusetrigger the door has no health and therefor can't be welded nor broken.
