Default Closing one side of a double door?

On maps with 'electronic' double doors - that slide, as opposed to swing open - I've seen players closing and welding one side of it that would usually close both when 'use' is pressed, effectively making it only a single door for zeds to come through. I don't know if it's a glitch or not, but I'd like to know how it's done.

Any help?

That's probably a glitch, because some specimen tend to attack the single welded door, even if they could walk past it.
Not sure what map you're talking about, may also be a 'feature'. I think Mountainpass has a single-double door ?

I've seen it happen once or twice before. It's a bug.

I haven't tested it yet, but try grenading one of the doors and not the other. Then if you close the remaining door, the grenaded door will respawn unclosed and cause you to have a half open double door.

I've seen this in the Mountainpass map too. At one end of the road, near the blocked tunnel, there's a double swinging door with one of the doors torn off and on the ground. If you close and seal the intact door, enemies will try to tear it down, even when they can just go around. The AI has some sort of door smashing compulsion.

I was thinking particularly about Biohazard and Filths Cross where I've seen a player close and weld one side without anything attacking it afterwards, and instead just walking around it, which is very useful! Especially in Biohazard's glitched Trader room.

Personally I hate glitches, never use them on morale principle, even if it gives me an huge advantage.

Good for you.

After maxing out all my perks and getting all achievements legitimately, sometimes it's fun to play with glitches and see what else the game has to offer.

Besides, deities of Killing Floor, I only asked how it was done and if it is actually a glitch; I don't need any moral uprising on a computer game.

I honestly cannot see the fun of using glitches over say, using god mode.

After 100000000 normal games, may be several game played with cheat or bug could be funny. At least for me it is. But dont use them when you play with random people tough. You will screw up other's game. But this double door bug only happen to me twice. And I have no idea how to do it.

And that one door on mountain pass should be made just for fun by the creator.
