Default Bizzare Lag issue with PTRD

When using the russian anti-tank rifle, I THINK it is on Arad (not familiar with the maps yet.. one with North Field, South Field, North villiage etc), I have noticed that when you get into the small bushes by the copse of trees I suddenly get a HUGE lag chunk. Other members of the clan have noticed this too.

For example I had crawled using these bushes as cover to the rear of a tiger, sat pumping round after round into the rear of it at a range of about 10m. No effect. Suddenly as I stand up there is a lag-jump and I am standing around 30m IN FRONT of the tank.

I have come out of the bushes pistol in hand and followed an Axis soldier blazing away , the Axis soldier completely oblivious to me... suddenly the same thing happens and I find myself in front of them, staring down the barrel of an MP40.

Haven't noticed it on any other maps yet, just the ones with copses of tree's surrounded by "bushes"

Same here.

It is in the South Village. In the tree line.

I noticed there is kind of 2 sets of tree lines...it only tended to happen in the deeper one. (im not even sure if you should be able to be that far into the trees?)

but yeh..the same thing has happened to me as it is one of my favourite haunts for when they drive past.

The treeline is weird on Arad. You run 3 times as fast as normal, can't be seen, you warp, etc. I presume it's something the dev team missed, because it is weird that they would leave it in the game.

I don't mind it that much. It's great for flanking tanks as a PaK-Soldat

Thats due to the map, not beacuse of the ptrd. Those bushes are evil!

Not really. You'll find when you come out you are not where you appear to be. Your shots get fired from where you really are, while you try to aim them from where you think you are. Have a look through the "Bug Report" forum here, there are a couple of other threads listing the general weirdness of the Arad woods.

That's odd, it works for me. I run out of the woods behind the tank, and I usually exit where I intended to (though sometimes a little off) and I fire my panzerfausts, take out the tanks, then retreat into the woods.

Also I once shot a tank commander out of his tank from inside the woods. He had his binoculars out, scanning the terrain. I took aim, but doubted I would hit because I was in the weird woods. Fired and was greeted with Sclass12 (bullet) tank commander
