You need to ask Rising Storm boys if they need Garand
that would be perfect high poly model for Normal map

Armor is set in code and not via the actual thickness of the model unless they change that drastically from Ostfront. You might be able to save those tris.

More like a test.

Heck of test you have!

modelling, unwrappin and texturing 80'000 tris
interior will be quite a pain in the ***.

Not to speaking about high poly model you need to
do for normal map.

You used 3ds max right. Click F9 and you will get render image.

LOL well i first want to see if i can even model the whole tank (mostly the interior) and i know that unwrapping is serious pain in the *** i worked on a model with 7000 tris and its still unfinished and i have model with 2 000 000 tris so but i also have a UV layout that is realy easy to use and saves time but i have some problems.
Anyways im using google sketchup for modeling and i used export 2D to get pictures.
Also i made the armor correct thickness so i can get an interior with correct size. lol
