Looks to be the same article they ran in their magazine, but it's real nice to see it online and avalible to all!

Nice find! All those people who never had a chance to read the magazine will be really happy now.

I'll be honest, though, "NEW" probably shouldn't be in the title of this thread. It artificially got my hopes up that there was new HOES information.

The community desperately wants something new to chomp on right now. And the devs are awful quiet ...

Agreed. I would personally want to see some proper HD quality in-game videos of gameplay...

So IS IT the same article as the one that was in the mag? If so I won't bother buying it like I was going to.

Yep, seems the images selection is a bit different between the magazine and the online article, the tank diagram at least is missing, but we get more pictures of the grain elevator, which I think is equally, if not more, important since with the real life pictures it is proven that the game REALLY focuses on authenticy while on the other hand I remember lots of diagrams in other game previews that were quite exaggerated and in reality things didn't work as detailed as described or even didn't work at all (can't remember any specific example, but generally when I read something about a extremely detailed feature I am certain a lot more is hidden).

Yes the article itself is exactly the same. The pictures are slightly different, but all the same written content is there.

there are a few subtle things different from the magazine article, but overall it's about the same.

for anyone who still hasn't seen the tank diagram, the PDF version of the january 2011 us pc gamer is available online, you just need to know where to look.

We get more information from beta phase soon. I'm sure that TWI wants to make everything ready for this. I hope for release of huge high quality game footage material.

Yes but seeing as we really don't know when that beta phase is, other than the next couple of months (probably), the wait is made even more agonizing.

I like how Evan said he could answer questions in the comments and how I immediately thought about how someone from this forum was going to kill him with questions... Someone certainly did... *cough* Zetsumei *cough*

Even if this is only half true...

I really can't wait now!

None of these previews have mentioned the singleplayer much. I wonder, will it be a full on story with characters and scripted segments... or will it be like multiplayer with bots but with a string of maps to progress through.

It's the RO gameplay with a story-driven single player that I anticipate the most.

Nice pic of the tank commanders hatch unbuttoned, raises the possibility that the Commander can fire his weapon when unbuttoned.
