Yes, good thread. I think you should be able to dive ontop of people-? running around in little circles is not realistic, I'm sure they woud've just got stuck into each other.

Honestly, every time i dive into an enemy-occupied foxhole and find myself in an RO circle duel, i just imagine that I blindsided him, missed the stab, got knocked off balance, and am now in an epic death struggle. Try it--limits the humiliation of losing, maximizes the satisfaction of winning

Having animations to back up the imagination would be awesome, of course, in an ideal world.

German to English

Seitengewehr an Ort <---> Unfix Bayonets

Seitengewehr pflanzt auf <---> Fix Bayonets

My favourite moments in RO and DH is when you've just charged somewhere, get everything shot out of your hands and yet you don't die..
So there you are, running for your life with nothing at all to defend yourself with.. IMHO you should atleast get a knife or the back pin of a medal to poke at people when you're either weaponless or just in the mood.

Would be nice if we could use our shovels to hit them over the head with
After all, entrenchment tools have been used more frequently to clubber the enemy in melee than bayonets and knives were, so, keeping in touch with the realism RO has come to be known for, why not give us the possibility to bury our shovels in the oppositions skull

Or we could get one of those trench maces that they used in WWI.

Default Side Tactics

Russians should have an Urraahhh charge while the Japanese (in Rising Storm) must have a banzai charge option. Just get a bunch of people together for it. So amazing. I try to banzai charge a little everyday, why not in RO?
