This has been an ongoing issue for me since the MAC-10 update. I am completely unable to finish a game due to the game crashing constantly. It doesn't matter how many people I play with online, it will eventually crash with this error:
Build UT2004_Build_[2004-11-11_10.48] OS: Windows NT 6.1 (Build: 7600) CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 2660 MHz with 4095MB RAM Video: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 (6089) General protection fault! History: SkeletalMeshGet <- USpriteEmitter::UpdateParticles <- AEmitter::Tick <- TickAllActors <- ULevel::Tick <- (NetMode=2) <- TickLevel <- UGameEngine::Tick <- Level KF-Offices <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Realloc <- 4C576C61 0 FArray <- FArray::Realloc <- 0*2 <- FMallocWindows::Free If anyone has ANY possible solution, I'd love to know. I can tell everyone that I have tried reinstalling the game, I even reformatted about 4 months ago and was still getting the error after a fresh Windows 7 install. I have tried deleting the "System" folder in my KF folder. I've tried deleting KillingFloor.ini, and I've tried tweaking my KillingFloor.ini. |

Heya man, I'm also having a similar issue, I'm not sure if it's that exact error, but usually in a 10 wave game I'll crash to desktop at least once.
My specs are, i7 920, @ stock speeds, 8gbDDR3, Gtx 275 1gb, all HDD's defragged, registry cleaned, no virus's or spyware etc.. I tried the above things you tried as well, I reinstalled my OS, I reinstalled KF clean, and tried tweaking stuff also, but to no avail. The crashes sometimes happen at complete random, and other times I'll be at the trader and I'll purchase a gun and it will crash to desktop before the gun loads into my hands.. not sure what causes this.. it feels like it's an inability for the game to load the model quick enough or something? Who knows.. any info on how to get around this crash would be most helpful, as I cannot have a clean game session without at least 1 crash. Edit - I am having the general protection fault in addition to this one. >>>>>>>> Build UT2004_Build_[2004-11-11_10.48] OS: Windows NT 6.1 (Build: 7600) CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 2673 MHz with 4095MB RAM Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275 (6099) Ran out of virtual memory. Bump. No one has any kind of fix?

I'm kinda suprised at the lack of response from Tripwire, and just the community in general. Maybe no one comes on the forums anymore?
