Default Name and Health Bar removal

I want to suggest, or if someone knows how, the option to remove the players floating name and health bar. It can be excessively annoying when you are sniping or whatever, and your fellows floating name and health bar interfere with your aiming. It should be made that that information appears only when I look at any given player, and not stay permanently above the head like some freakish halo. I want this for practical and technical reasons.

End of Line

if that would require too much work, maybe just only let medics see the health bars.

That is interesting idea. I like it.

There is one way in KF turn those off. Toggle HUD on/off. Tutorial.

Well if only medics see the health bar than other players will not know when to heal a wounded soldier.

Pressing a button to view players' health bars and name instead of permanently floating would be ideal if possible to implement practically.

How about we give them the option to toggle it on and off mid-game? That way, it doesn't interfere with those trying to ADS and you can turn it back on when you want to.

There is different kind of excitement, reality thing. Others must call for help.

I have played Scrake wave with no HUD at all.

I liked it, i liked that reality. I used syringe to others, but i was not sure if they even needed, but with NO HUD and if you are looking for reality, you must do so.

If there would be no HUD, playing as medic would be good to have ability to see others health. This would make medic more important perk for team. Even from it is now.

Its different kind of excitement, when you are lookin for reality. KF is not impossebly without HUD, its kind of fun.

KF1 is not made for NO HUD, you must do extra work to get it work, and you need a practice. But sometimes its fun to play with no HUD.

------------------------
It would be fun to see how Game goes in server, where is 70 % friendlyfire, and NO HUD to all. (and only Medics were able to see others health) I would try that server. Well thats, for real men

I like that reality, fits good in KF.

Toggled health bar and name would be awesome, whatever button one chooses to press.

Alternatively, toggle health bar when a syringe or medical weapon is equipped for use, as suggested.

Not having a health bar show for those that are not medics would actually, as suggested also, make medics somewhat more important. This little feature could add an additional dimension to the game, it seems.
