In-Game Admin problem

Web admin works fine. Problem is we cant issue console commands (Kick, Kickban etc) in-game. Drop console by hitting the ['] key, log in as admin fine... enter command e.g. "Kick <playerX>" or "Kickban <playerX>" and it says "unrecognised command" in the console.

1. Does the webadmin have to be disabled to issue in-game commands?
2. Am I missing something else - is it something like "adminkick <playername>"

Its a pain havinmg to jump out of the server, fire up IE, connect and log-in to web admin.... do what has to be done then reconnect.

Also, is there any in-game admin plugin anyone can reccomend?

You must add Admin before all your admin command exemple :

Adminlogin mypassword
Admin Kick TKWh0re

also remember the "admin kick list" trick
spits out a list of all players with numbers assigned.
You can kick (or ban) a player after that command by
"admin kick <number>"

good for "l33t" names, and for those who leave when you want to ban them.
If the list is too long, you can scroll using the mousewheel.

That needs to be fixed
Shouldn't need to login more than once per session

you got that wrong.
you just have to login once.

but for kick you type "admin kick <name>"
when you are logged in and not "kick <name>"

you also can kick/ban/whatever from webadmin.
Also it is possible to bind the login to a key along with the logout.

Keybinding your admin login and logout will save you tons of time. I have my admin login bound to my PageUp key and my Admin logout to my PageDown key. So... when the map changes, I simply hit my PageUp key and I'm logged in as Admin again.

I guess there's no reason you couldn't keybind some admin commands as well and make the overall admin process that much easier.

Well, for your information I always have to re-login as an admin (during same map session). For some reason it (randomly??) ends the admin session and you do have to type "adminlogin <yourpass>" to get admin commands back.

Anyway to turn off this feature?

Thanks for the help guys.

The list thing will come in handy, I have noticed there are some crafty gits that use the @ sign in their name - of course, this opens and closes console so you try to kick by name and console closes .
