Default Ball Skins

I think a neat idea would be able to use custom skins on the ball itself.

Like DLC.

We might do it for DLC, it is a cool idea, but it will be quite time demanding to implement. We will see after release

I support this idea!

I'd like to have a football, pokeball, fireball, glowmap ball, dragonball, bowling ball, basketball, and a giant hand grenade.

PS: the thread title made me lol. ._.

I think it would be nice if this kind of feature was doable in mutators! (or something)

Like a custom texture/model or something.

Skinning our own balls would be cool.

What would you expect when a game is called "the ball"

Changing the ball is gimicky. Why bother? I keep it in clear mode so I can see what is coming as I almost always keep the ball in front of me just in case a mummy or big bug appears. What the game could use is protection from overhead perils like that dinosaur bird dropping the eggs that turn into bouncing bombs. Still working on surviving that one.
