Default Impossible [Mutator]

KFImpossibleF

~ Whitelisted ~

This mutator is... impossible.
Or not, you never know.

It's simple, one hit kills.
So don't get hit!

[If you don't have the update as of 6/19/2010,
re-download and replace your current]
[make sure you have KFImpossibleF and not KFImpossible]

Well it sure would be impossible lol

Tho, it doesnt rly work as increasing the difficulty since one-hit-kill type of gameplay is more about luck that skill. I hope TW will add a new difficulty where specimens have new abilities and they behave differently, instead of just making them faster/stronger.

i know [:
i know it has a lot to do with luck, seeing as the spawning of them can happen right behind you, etc
but there'd still have to be skill involved to survive for such a long while

Seeing how the difficulty levels just alter some multiplicators, can't you modify them to emulate the impossible mode?
Like +100% health and +40% speed.

I think he means adding another difficulty in the same way as the existing ones. Since (from what I remember) most difficulty-related variables are hardcoded I don't think this would be viable, and I'd suggest that you give the player a handicap instead (bleed-out/low maximum health/reduced money/reduced movement speed).

bleed-out and low maximum health wouldn't do anything seeing as it's on hit kills. i might add a handicap though, not sure what. i don't want to make it "too" impossible, and one hit kills are hard enough as is.

aww that's a whole new level of difficulty

you should call the new level "Forget suicidal...THIS IS HELLISH *** RAPE"
or maybe insomnia or something more horrible than suicidal...maybe Genocide?

idk w/e anyways cant wait to play it!

This in combination with easy or normal actually sounds pretty interesting to me. Aka specimen drop quick but so do you.

Meaning there is an increased importance in staying together as a team. And moving as a big group covering all flanks. Could bring some awesome diversity to game play.
