What a harsh end

When my steam friends stops messing up all the time, I'm gonna talk to the non-modellers about this.

KF begins to be boring for me and you seem to be the "modder" we need (well, not the only one, but one of them ) . I wish I had some animating and coding knowledge in order to help you.

Good luck, you deserve it.

What he said, you really deserve a great luck and a great team. What if TWI hire you?

Well I have spoke to Ricardo, and he said that he might stay in if we can get more people in KFWDT doing the animation and coding or if we can get our current animators and coders working harder.

We're on Life Support for now.

Lol , that would be great , but i don't think they would hire a person miles away.

Well see , if someone volunteers to help , i will gladly try to introduce this weapon to the game , if not it will just be another model.

The KFWDT was a bit of a flop, to be honest we basically had about 5 people saying ANIMATE MINE!!! and about two animators who weren't really bothered about doing any.

Although there's no reason as to why we can't pull ourselves off the ground again and get in a more organized manner.

Well first off we need some properly dedicated animators.

Well, as I said in the beginning, theres no reason to get over-excited until these weapons are actually in game and fully functioning. Just because someone made a model doesnt mean it gets animated and put in the game, Ive seen too many "abandoned" works around here.

Especially when there seems to be like 10 modellers active but only 1 or two animators and coders.

Tho I must admit they did a pretty good job getting at least some of their weapons in game in some form, lol. I just hope they would concentrate into perfecting one weapon instead of working on a dozen different projects at a time leaving everything half finished and eventually forgotten.

I might sound a bit negative as usual but think of it as constructive criticism

Why can't people that model the stuff learn to animate it too?
I heard that animation is easier than modelling the guns.

Animation is the opposite of easy. And it is in fact the hardest thing to find (animators) when making a mod team.

for the record i am not an animator, im a coder
i have been refered to as one of the teams "animators"
im just a guy who downloaded 3ds max one day and made some mods

at one point i was the only one coding and animating the mac-11
hardly sounds like a team effort...

nah modelling has gotta be far easier, and importantly more rewarding in so much as the toil of your labour is there for you, and everyone else, to see.

Animation is only easy if you have motion capture and we dont have that equipment of course.

Animation as yoshiro said is the hardest thing on creating a Game/movie or anything else, because not only you have to move bone by bone , you need to make it look good , and rigg things so they dont bug etc..etc..

Well animating never was that hard for me. In my opinion you just have to have a good imagination on how things moove and well some patience. A reload animation for example takes some hours. If you want it to get finished fast, it will just look strange. Another important thing is use the same frame/time ratio for the whole animation or it will look inhumane again......
I think it's wrong to blame people not to have time. Actually I would like to help you, but at the moment we have to get the MK23 finished and there are things to do in private life too. Like learning for university and animating can sometimes get frustrating .
So please don't get me wrong. I really like your model but I honestly won't find much time to work on it. Maybe you noticed how slow the MK23 is comming along.... We really just find some hours a week to work on it.

Then why don't you learn how to do it if it's that easy?
