Default Effects

Some nice effects that would be cool to see in the next Red Orchestra including;
  1. 1. Less fireball effect on the tank shells, when you fire at another tank they can spot you easily because of this, plus its not realistic, dim it a bit like darkest hour did.
  2. 2. I would like to see a lot of exhaust smoke coming from the noisy tanks, they weren't economical so they should be like this, look at the tiger in the video.

  3. 3. Tank track trails would be cool to see if possible.
  4. 4. Detailed interiors of the tanks.
  5. 5. Ability to change shell without firing existing shell in chamber.
  6. 6. Physics on the tanks that make them seem a lot heavier like the way its done in ARMA 2.
  7. 7. Tank Tracks that can change shape based on what they are crossing, like bumpy, hilly landscape and maybe train tracks, like the way its done in ARMA 2.
  8. 8. The Armour on the tiger1 in ostfront is hilariously bad, it should be a lot better in HOS.
  9. 9. When you fire a shell, a lot of smoke and dust should surround the tank, in darkest hour it was good but it disappeared after 1 second.
What do you guys think?

I think we wouldn't see the Tiger I at all in RO:HOS.

Also #5 depends very much on the tank. On some tanks you could safely change the existing shells, but on many others it was unsafe.

#1 and #3 are the only things I really want/need to see, but #7 morphing tracks would be pretty bad-***.

Why wouldn't we see a tiger in HOS?
I would really like to see #1 #2 #3 #9 especially.
Arma 2 is so cool the way the tanks feels so heavy and the way the tracks change shape when going across walls and stuff, also I love the massive dust cloud when shooting the cannon on a tank in that game, also the massive dust cloud left behind a travelling tank.

Because AFAIK there were no Tigers in Stalingrad, they weren't even in the frontlines already by that time.

[/LIST] This video is quite unlikely to be an accurate representation of a Tiger as it's unlikely to be using a genuine Tiger engine.
