Private Servers

Not sure if its the same thing but I run a listen server and anyone can join it and level just fine.

Dex I'm not sure I follow. Are you saying perks don't level on passworded servers? I have never noticed that.

heres what happened, me and my friend are playing on a passworded server and hes trying to level up on whitelisted maps but its not going. we didnt have any mutators or special stuff on. just 10 waves, suicidal, 2 ppl.

i ask the owner of the server about it, and he says, "yeh they dont allow leveling up on passworded servers".. im not sure if its to stop cheaters? but if ppl are going to cheat, theyre going to cheat if its in the public or private. theres PLENTY of empty public servers out there.

Passworded servers allow perk leveling. I run 2 servers, I know my stuff.

dex, that means the server wasn't setup right. you certainly can level on passworded servers as long is it is configured properly.

I have a password-protected server up most of the time, and yes the Perks do level up.

The server you played must have had either some custom content or just messed up configuration.
