Invasion 44 started out as a Flashpoint mod too, didn't it? I think I remember and unfinished mod of that name for the game.
Would you say it's worth getting Operation Arrowhead solely for this mod? If yes, why? What's so good about it?
You need to get the original ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead to be able to install Invasion 1944... Anyways, yes it started originally for OFP from what iīve read (OFP had other WW2 mods tho Steel troops that i remember).

The best part in I44 for me is its online Coop missions and gametypes. As you know ArmA2 (like OFP ) is very realistic game and missions last hours, the I44 has around 6 SP (Currently) missions that you can play online with up to 6 ppl(atleast). And multiplayer missions where you can have squads of ppl. Also the Coop Insurgency WW2 gametype is fun to play where you are capturing towns with other human players against AI. Theres also Capture the Island but havenīt seen many servers for it lately.

Sadly there are not many servers for I44 at this time, but when you find one its a blast. (Maybe because most ppl want to play in modern setting) And installing mods gets rid of the most ppl like most COD players, BF player.

So why itīs worth it. You get German,British,French (resistance) and US troops with their weapons and gear. German and US airplanes, Tanks,Cars.... SP missions that you can play online in Coop, Online gametypes...
And also for me the fact you have the editor like in OFP where you can make your own missions and situations with ease is great.

I would get Arma 2 (and Operation Arrowhead) solely for I44, they are really cheap now and thereīs tons of other mods also for it(that you can also run with I44 like (ACE,ACRE,Zeuz Ai...).

If you were into OFP i donīt see any reason you would not like Arma 2 and its mods like I44, cause they are like OFP mods exept 100x better.
Thereīs also other WW2 mods like LIBERATION 1941-1945 that i just found.

Watch some youtube clips and see if you like how it plays. Get your PC ready
ARMA 2 MOD (WW2) Invasion 1944 2.5 RELEASED! - YouTube
ARMA 2 (CO) Invasion 1944 - Commandos - YouTube
ARMA 2 (CO) Invasion 1944 - Paras (KH) - YouTube
ARMA 2 Invasion 1944 - Inland - YouTube ARMA 2 Mod (WW2) Invasion 1944 - Landing - YouTube
I think Bohemia Interactive makes the best war simulation games. Like Tripwire makes the best FPS games. And donīt get the credit as they deserve. They get my money everytime.

Honestly, it doesn't need more than Tokara Forest with low gravity and Instagib to have the bets possible time with UT2k4!

What rattus said, but Air Buccaneers is fine too. Presuming you can find DL link somewhere to the mod version.

FragOps is like a much faster Counterstrike. Might be worth checking out. I enjoyed that a lot back in the days.

Gold-Source (Must own Half-Life)

Basically, one of my favorite horror games ever, and made by a very small team. It's pretty horrifying.

Anyone heard of this?

Really old mod, but I have never even heard of it until now. Warhammer 40k mod for Operation Flashpoint. Best combination ever
