I am new unreal ed and have made a map but when i press the "Play Map!" icon in the editor my map loads to the perk selection screen but my cursor changes from the usual one and I cannot press the button to start the game. Any advice? oh yeah and I have looked all over but I am not sure how to make it so my map shows up in the map selection screen ingame

Never had an issue with that.
Something that can cause a lockup is not having an ammo spawn in your map (strange i know, but you need one).

You probably clicked somewhere while it was loading. There is a chance you "minimized" the game by that even though it showed up in fullscreen then. To get control again, alt-tab switch to the game again and if that doesn't work, switch to something else first and then to the game.

the only time i have an issue with it is when i get that malloc windows error, then i have to delete ini files in system, usually fixes it.
