nevermind, it just did not finish in one go. I thought it was done when hlds closed first connection with no error.

My server was incomplete also. After the first update, I was missing all the new maps. I'm updating for the fifth time or so and seem to be getting the rest of the files. Keep trying I guess

yeah it took 2 seperate downloads, just got nervous when I saw a heap of errors on the first run

Update to my problem. I don't know whether or not this fixed the problem (I doubt it), but I rebooted the server box and all is well.

taner against your box it says some data is corrupted. There is a command for hlds to verify the integrity of the cache try googling that deleting stuff and downloading again.
If you can do a checkdisc to make sure you dont have a bad sector on the harddisc.
