Default f(lame thrower)(Make better thread titles next time)

just some thoughts i want to share,

a realistic implementation of a flame thrower should be compulsory for HoS, would be a great tactical addition for the role of combat engineer.

some kind of gasmask gameplay in burning houses/bulidings/factorys, if you not use your gasmask your screen will start flickering, become fuzzy/unfocused and you will lose health due to the lack of oxigen and inhaled fumes. If you wear the gasmask your sight is restricted and maybe it gets steamed the longer you wear it or when running.

Shouldn't the threadtitle be what the thread is about?

Flamethrowers eh?

Well I have a few questions before we continue down this road:

Did Stalingrad see significant use of flamethrowers?
Were they used in the same kind of skirmishes we'll be seeing in the game?
How can we balance such a weapon?

There is an existing thread about flame throwers that I started. I'm not sure but some of peoples' questions could possibly be answered there.

you arent very agile with such an device attached to your body, you need backup to operate effectively, ammunition is running low fastly + mg like back fillings, in the open you are an easy kill

they also used flame throwers in the sewer tunnels beneath the city, maybe a bit off topic but i can recommend the movie stalingrad

YouTube - Stalingrad - 1993 Version - Trailer [ War film ]
