I don't see why you're an uber realism freak if you dont want to get an instant notification that you killed someone. As that information changes how people play especially with penetration.

The issue aint that there is some text, i dont mind chat text either. Its the possibly unknown information thats given to players that i hate.

And tbh i find that information much worse myself than pressing a button and showing where the cap is in the 3d world. As after playing a map 2 times i know where the caps are, and will never need to press the button anyway in the first place, and i would never notice it if others would press it.

It seems to me, TW wants the players to act as much like real soldiers did. And we can agree no DM would make people more cautious like a real soldier. As was mentioned earlier, if you toss a nade into the next room, you wouldn't know for sure if you killed the guys in there IRL, and just waltz in there.
