Default KF-The Rock beta 1

This is a mission that requires teamwork. The lonewolf player will not last long on his own. Do NOT get separated from the team! Stick together, explore the facility and look for extras, like keys to the South Armory.

Special Thanks to the great guys at After-Hourz.com for their support and many late nights testing and providing valuable feedback on everything from light color and brightness to spawn placements and "why is that box there?" type questions.

Please provide feedback in this thread.

Scenario:

They don't call this place The Rock for nothing... It's nothing more than a huge chunk of rock with nothing but miles of water around it. Rumors have it that a Beta Site was set up here, built right into this mountain. Find out if indeed this is the beta site as rumored. Infiltrate the complex any way you can. Investigate every inch. And, this goes without saying: Kill and/or destroy anything you find! Your team may be able to scrounge around for whatever you can find for weapons and supplies. Oh, yeah, a bit of friendly advice... you will work as a team, or you will all die. Period. This is a challenging mission, gear up, adjust your skirts, circle the wagons, and work together!

I like the map but to me its seems as though the 'main' room is a little too big.

Well, I would be interested in a PM on how you managed to do that. I can't imagine what sort of ridiculous movements are required.

Pimping for input for Beta 2. I have made some minor tweaks to look and feel type items, and have a few ideas on game play. Several clipping issues are resolved as well. Any feedback at all? Is it that good or bad a map that there are no comments?

Looks good, but I honestly haven't had a chance to try it yet...

~edit I forgot I downloaded it so tried it in practice for a few rounds. Impressive, they seem to come at you from everywhere and the place is big. Didn't play it enough this morning to come up with more comments or criticisms though...

When to expect the version with the corrections? But it quite simply on the beams as chickens sitting people and is the use of such a big beautiful maps no! The author you're working on a project or why should we wait?

Thanks. Got them. And yes, that's about the only way I could imagine. I think the collision mesh is wider than the blocking volume, either way, it will be fixed. Beta 2 will be out within the week...if I can get motivated.
