I just completed a mesh in maya, edited the uv-map and imported it in Unreal Ed, But the Texture doesnt fit! I imported different Meshes before without changing the Uv-map and it looked fine. Does anyone know if it is possible to import a mesh with a changed uvmap or do i have to keep it unaltered.

If you alter the UVMap you also have to alter the texture for the mesh so that it fits it.

Solution, the faces of the mesh were to complex, so the unreal ed simply didnt get it. I changed the model so it had more simple faces and all works fine.
