Not detecting the maps i have.

For some reason whenever I join a server, even if i already have the map, the game tries to download it. I wouldn't mind this so much if it didn't take an hour to download each map. I'm not talking about custom maps, the default maps. I'm seeing if I download it once if that'll be all, but I dunno if that'll work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

It sounds like some of your maps didn't update correctly from Steam. Or the server you are trying to connect to has altered the default maps in some way. Either way, it should only be a single download as you said, but if the particular server did alter the default maps, then you'll have to redownload them when you join any other server.
