I don't think this is needed or adds any value besides the novelty.
Bots suck compared to players, especially if things bots can be better at than players, like accuracy and reaction times, aren't that important. All they would do is scale up the waves and make the game harder because they effectively increase the player-count but they are not as much help in coping with the increased difficulty as a real player would be. EDIT: This isn't meant to stop you. Just saying I don't see much use in it. If it's something that interests you and/or you think you can prove me wrong, by all means, go for it.

Of course it can be done - just would need a load of AI coding to make them actually useful, without just making them invincible!

Friendly AI is a tough one. Back when testing 251 I got a bunch of flak for always playing Normal because Hard was too hard. Of course this was because I was playing w/ a full team of bots that would scale everything up and die off the first couple minutes while everyone else was playing solo on a greatly reduced scale

Well... If you add enemy horzine soldier pawns to a map you can set them to friendly to players and hostile towards specimens, but they ALWAYS kill each other, they ALWAYS kill me and they ALWAYS get head shots no matter what.

AI might be fun for small amount of players like 1-3.
sure AI can not be compared with human tactics but when you include the basic commands like in ut2k4 to tell them follow the player, defend the actual location or go around searching for enemies it might be the player who has to think about tactics

The bots are really good, I'm surprised about how good they are.
Too bad they don't go shopping, but that would be impossible to code I think. Still, what´s there is great. I'm impressed by your work as usual!

they are just the bots that weren't used but I gave them freedom.

wow that bot mutator is great
but they ONLY make headshots and never buy a weapon so if they are out of ammo they knife like mad |

sadly they dont heal each other like in KFmod but the weird thing they weld doors o_o
and they need fix with flamethrower because they use it from far distance so the fire doesn't reach to specimens
