Default It's a perfect time for a free weekend!

If you guys haven't been following the recent news, there's a lot of angry L4D customers with the announcement of L4D2 during E3. There's a STEAM group that is already approaching 9000 members, and I've convinced 10 or so people to buy Killing Floor. I think a free weekend would be perfect idea to give Valve's upset L4D owners to play the game. This would equal more cash for you guys and a bigger community for us.

Just a suggestion.

I am sure they will at some point, but my guess is not anytime soon, especially not this weekend with the Darkest Hour Mod set for Steam release.

Just a guess of course.

L4D2 does explain why L4D got, well, craptacular support compared to other Valve games. What's the point in dumping a lot of energy into L4D when you're next money maker is less than a year away?

Mystery solved. Bastards.

I think that the first free weekend will be at the first KF update that gives additional content rather than purely bug fixes, whenever that might be.
