Default Voice Chat

I didn’t find a way to disable the user voice chat, so I’d put it here as a suggestion:

PLEASE allow users to disable the voice chat

It’s annoying to hear the stupid blabla from users... especially when it’s in some Arabic language. Makes me

Thank you very much.

Thank you, but what if it’s already disabled? Do I have to enable voice chat first to... disable it? :-| Doesn’t make sense to me...

Arabic language causes others (ME!) headaches. It’s nothing personal, sir. I want to play a game and don’t like voices in my ears... the voices in my head are enough

Perhaps a checkbox to disable brown people would be in order?

Seriously though, I sometimes wish it was possible to mute specific players. Maybe even through a console command ala "mute KFPlayer", which only counts for one round unless you write it in your .ini.
Is something like that also possible already? If not, take this as a suggestion.

You could do it in CS:S, and other valve games made afterwards. Hell, you could do it in Half-Life 1 and it's mods.

In CS:S onward, they had a little option when you hit esc to go back to the menu. It was "Players", when you clicked it, it brought up a menu of the players. You could then select the players and hit "Mute" on them.

In Half-Life 1 and it's mods, all you had to do was hit tab to bring up the player menu, and then click on their name once. Their mic that was at the far right of their name, then had a red x over it, showing you muted them.

I'm surprised that UT never implemented something like that.

They did, but for some reason the Communication tab in KF won't list player names, hence you can't select a player and mute him.
