any way to turn it off? It only shows up in serverside demos
also, my guns do not show up in firstperson mode when playing a serverside demo, and I'm locked in thirdperson mode in a clientside demo.

But thats not the point!
The point is that you get the spectator grainy-style overlay when playing a demo recorded by the server.

There are bindings in the controls-option where you can bind keys for start/stop recording, but you can't define a name there, so where are those demos saved, after I press the start and later the stop button?
And it definitely did something ^^ because it lagged a sec when I hit the record button! |

The only thing I can think of is to locate that dusty screen's texture in a package file and replace it with an empty texture. That'd make your package not match with other servers so just make a back up first.
