Default Moar Bets! Metascore Rating!

What do you think will be the Metascore Rating of Killing Floor via Steam? RO has ranked an 81/100, so I'm going to place my official guess at perhaps:

85/100

Heck, if Plants vs. Zombies can rope in an 89 for having only 2 of the 5 features that KF boasts, I'm expecting something good.

We are being fairly sanguine about this - "old engine, old graphics, cheap game" - we may well get "varied" opinions from the reviewers. But we'll see!

Plants vs Zombies was a game that came up somewhat off the radar with cartoony graphics, easy difficulty, and simple gameplay and it still received a favorable review. For the record I am thoroughly enjoying Plants Vs Zombies.

My guess is 87/100

It's not a AAA game so the most popular review sites (IGN/Gamespot) will weigh it down to around 85 probably, that is if they even take the time to review it, i haven't seen a stitch of KF on IGN. -_-

It also fits a niche market and and as such is exempt from the norm comparison.

Will see, but I have good feelings about that. C'mon Wilsonam, engine might be old but graphics doesn't look old, at least on the screenshots.

Yea, but xplay will give it a solid 2 out of 5 for not being L4D. Just as RO got 2 out of 5 for not being CoD.

THE ABOVE IS MY PERSONAL OPINION/JEST. IT DOES NOT REFLECT THE OPINION OF TRIPWIRE INTERACTIVE OR ANY OF IT'S EMPLOYEES.

Yeah probably xD, but you never know, they've surprised me a few times b4 (but it was probably just to keep their show ratings up ;P) I'm pretty sure they've given out more 4/5's than any other rating on their show (which is a ridiculously bad thing) lol.

It's gonna do fine. Really I don't trust a lot of review sites, including IGN because they seem to only review the hype and not actually try and delve deep into the game itself. It's a shame really.

For Killing Floor, the graphics are outdated a little and stuff. But if you guys really made the game as good as it sounds, they will forgive it. Some people may say its what L4D should have been. It's arcady style and intense zombie killing (plus some strategy) will definately rope people in. I don't know, but in my opinion it will and should get around 92/100

I thought GTA IV was really well done, people just couldn't get over the fact it wasn't San Andreas, but it didn't deserve as much praise as it got from IGN (or many other review sites that gave it a 10).

Precisely, just an illustration they seem to review games with hype in mind (in favor of the game).
