The idea is they will have a longer shelf life in the stores. The car manufacturers do the same thing. The 2010 models will be available shortly (in 2009).

It's all about the marketing.

FINALLY. I'm psyched as hell. I was quite worried TW was gonna make a modern shooter (which I'm sure would be fantastic but still, there is no one else making an ultra realistic WW2 infantry experience)

I hope the singleplayer doesn't remove focus from the multiplayer though.

I think it can only make it better, it's a way of easing People into gameplay and control set up, and not having to worry about being called a Noob (Like Me) if they mess up online......MP will always be it's major focus and selling point anyway
Can't wait

Awesome news.

Admittedly I'd kind of forgot about RO over the last couple of years (and gaming in general really), but I'm really looking forward to seeing what you guys have been up to. In fact, I think Ostfront deserves a reinstall - it's been too long.

Good news ofcourse. Let's hope 'when it's done' will be sooner than 2010

When will you people learn? It's "soon, and if not, then some other time!"

Wouldn't be surprised if they went for a March 2010 release like Ostfront.

Any idea when the system requirements will be posted for this game? I'd like to know now so I can decide if I need to build a new comp for it

BiA: Hells Highway also uses Unreal 3 so would they have similar graphics?
