Default German release?

Asked this already in another thread but got no response.
Will there be a localised cut german version or will you only sell it uncut on steam?
It's a matter of buying or not for me and I'd appreciate a response before the pre-order deal ends.

Cheers

I'm sure they will post an announcement when they figure this out.

Nichts genaues weiß man nicht.

TWI doesn't know, we don't know but most likely the steam version won't be cut for Germans. At least for now.

Actually Kettch the steam version most likely will be. But we don't know yet. You can only sell one version of a game over steam in a region. And that version must be approved by ze Germans to sell without an age check.

But if I buy it now, how can it be "reverse" cut?

But other games sell the uncut to germans on steam when steam has no age verification.

Innociv, got an example?
And i'm talking about an "uncut right on release" example and not an "changed from cut to uncut and sometimes the other way around because of some bug-patching"example

This whole thing with the german version is really annoying.

Als long as there are no concrete infos on which is really changed I don't buy/pre-order this game at the moment (ok, thats an advantage for TWI ... IF I buy it later I have to pay the full price ... hey, you don't do this with intent, do you? ).

This all wouldn't be a problem if Steam would have an age verification (something that will never happen ) or TWI will sell a uncut retail version outside germany so we can import and activate it on steam ...

Steppenwolf or let somebody from outside of germany buy it on steam and gift it to you. That way it will be uncut too.

I'm in Germany and I'll probably will have it gifted to me. I don't really want a cut version, as gore is critical for this game.

Is it confirmed that you'll get the uncut version? I heard of cases where steam localised the IP and downloaded a cut version even if it was a gift.

You could localise the game but sell the retail version in austria. They don't have game censorship. I order all my 18+ games in austria and many other germans do that as well.
