thats because of 2.5
On 2.1 and 2.11 (community patch) we had a very close-knit community.
2.5 caused this massive influx of retards and idiots, because it looked and played that damn great. oh and the coverage on MODDB frontpage also helped making it popular.
More players is great, but the massive amounts of retards (both SEAL and PWD) attraced to Kf made me wonder if it got cursed or something xD.

I'd actually love some less dark, less red/green, maps but not like this D:

I think I'll use the time between now and KF:R's (the R stands for Retail, 'foo) release to touch up my modelling and put in a bunch of other new zany and goofy objects to throw into that hell hole.
