Not all tanks had them, for example the Panzerkampfwagen IV got them in version F1. And the Panzerkampfwagen II also had none in the first version.

If you read the Pantherfibel or Tigerfibel or the WWII german Panzerjäger-Instructions you will notice, that the Tanks crews (german and Soviets) were able to use MPs or pistols to defend themself from Infantry assualts from inside of the tank.
Also some tanks allowed infantry to shoot into the tank (no bulletproof glas).

Yep. But that was done through "pistol ports". Not through view slits.

You can not shoot people that are in transport areas of tanks, like universal carriers , halftracks and open tanks .

Well things could get very interesting if these were modeled into the game.

While this may be true, I don't think any of the tanks modelled in this game are without the ballistic glass.
