Default Brush Problem

I'm not sure how to ask this. I've searched and couldn't find anything to answer my question so here goes...

When I build a new brush, to make a wall for example, and click the 'add' button the textures of the wall end up being (or looking like they are) at a 90 degree angle to where the newly added brush apears. If I make a wall thats 96uu high, 1300uu in width and 8uu in breadth.. the height stays as I set it but the breadth and width are switched when I hit the add button.. The new brush looks to be exactly how it should when it's highlighted but even after hitting 'build all' the textures are at 90 degrees to it.. rotating the brush doesn't help either lol...

Did I screw something up? does this make any sense? can anyone help? lol

Try this: right click on the brush (2D viewport) and then select reset --> all maybe rotation will help
