Shell shock is in. It is caused by exploding grenades or flying bullets near you. You will recognise it, believe me.

I thought BF2 pulled Artyillery off rather well - im hoping the experiance in RO will be to the same, if not better standard.

There is when a bullet wizzes by your ear. Tank shells also make a distinct sound when they fly past. The sound in the game is excellant to say the least.

I also think that using "shell shock" effects when mg's are firing at you is a very creative way to do surpression fire effects. GG devs!

ther is not bbbbeeeeeeeeeeeeee. and thr shud b.

think for one moment...*shudders* counter strike source or day of defeat source. They have got it right there, if a grenade goes off near you, you hear a high pitched bbbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and then cannot hear for several seconds.

ALSO think SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, when he keeps experiecing it. that should happen on this game so the german concusion nades av more realistic and useful effect

He's talking about your ears ringing after an explosion, CaptRanger, not bullets whizzing about.

There's no shellshock in RO:O because shellshock is a psychological condition now known as Combat Fatigue. There are, however, concussion effects from explosions etc.

I wouldn't mind the "bbbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" thing. I have actually experienced something similar to this and I could not hear anything, everything was muffled and it had a little beeeeee sound when I got my hearing back. How it happened you ask? I was at a West Virginia University football game last year and our crowd was cheering THAT LOUD!!!! It was INSANE!

yer, think about ur ears after a loud match/gig/air horn/explosion goes off, ther is a loud beeeeee and u loose ur hearing, then it slowly fades back in. we NEED this to make nades more effective as a "stun" not a "kill" weapon
