Default Looking for a Clan in ROOST

Been reading in these forums for a long time but have just registered now.
I already have preordered and preloaded ROOST and would like to find a clan for it. Though I only want in a clan which is german speaking (if there is any ) Side doesnt matter for me.
I have been playing FPS games since I was 10 (I'm 14 now). I am german and are playing CoD:UO atm, but getting bored of it.
Though I have a question: What is this russian/german side all about? Do you HAVE to choose a side once or is it just a game intern rule to make it more realistic?
Many thanks
Shadow (name was already taken :/ )

A large part of the european community is german speaking, so you should find a cosy place in a german speaking clan.
About the sides: Well, there might be some squads which play one side exclusively, but as in every other shooter, you can chose any side you want any time you want (except if the server automatically balances the teams )...
Clanmatches work like in any other game: either team plays either side on one map. So these "realism" squads most propably won't take part in ladders...

And generally, check out www.roladder.net to get info on the active clans.

If you have no luck finding a German speaking clan feel free to drop by our site and become a soldier of the 7th! We are a Euro clan with one german speaker at least (I think).

Note: If you do fancy it please read out notice on the homepage regards players under 18. You will be a part of the "Komsomol" wing and should select this on the application form.
