This is an anti tank magnetic grenade. The grenade resembled a funnel with a set of permanent magnets attatched to the wide end. The device could be either thrown with a 4 ˝ second delay fuse, or placed with a 7 second delay fuse. The warhead contained 3lb 5oz of TNT and could penetrate either 110mm of armor or 20 inches of reinforced concrete. The Germans were so concerned about allied use of magnetic grenades that they produced an anti magnetic paint with which to coat their tanks called ‘Zimmerit’.
Weren't these shown in the scene of Stalingrad where there fighting the T-34's?

MN M44 is really a post war carbine. It was tested at the very end of WWII but that was about it.

IMHO there are many other weapons that could be added that had were more numerical and appropriate.

Wow really?
Why would they go to the trouble of making their tanks resistant to magnetic mines if no one used em?
Probably just typical german over engineering.
Well at least I know that the germans had some magnetic mines because in the movie Stalingrad they used em and ive seen historical vids of them using em against stationary t 34s.

The MP-28 Bergmann? Yes please! Even though it was a second-line SMG, I'd like to see it in action.

You know that many other people have mentioned vehicle mounted weapons in this same thread and nobody said a word for 5 pages?

I just want to be able to use those stationay AT guns lying all over the place. We could then get rid of all the magic respawning panzerfausts all over the maps.....I hate those things.

AFAIK the Walther PPK was not an issue item. The Nagant Revolver OTOH defenitely was issued.

IMHO, before they add more weapons they need to fix the ones that are broke i.e. safety is in ON position on the K98 and the 91/30 PU should have round reciever instead of hex etc.
Agreed completely. We have the most important and common small arms already in the game, why are so many people obsessed with putting every obscure weapon and variation into a game that's supposed to be realistic?

I agre with the above user. Fix the current mistakes before putting in new stuff. Some weapons were used in large numbers and aren't shown but we can survive w/o them. I love how the devs model the early war issue for soldiers while they love to use late war scenarios for there maps. For example the Russian spade cover.

Default Pak

It bothers me that we can't use the anti tank guns. Any of these German models would be good.
-3.7-cm Pak 35/36
-5-cm Pak 38
-7.5-cm Pak 40

The Soviets had
-45-mm M1942
-76.2-mm ZiZ-3 also known as 7.62-cm Pak 36(r)

It would also be nice to see some of the following:
-Marder 3
-SdKfz 10 (Mabe the option to toe the Pak 38 to be deployed any where)
-Panzerspahwagen SdKfz 231 (Armored Car)
-Panzerspahwagen SdKfz 222 (Armored Car)
-21-cm Wurfgranate 42 (Rockets)
-M-13 132 mm Rocket (Soviet)

But most of all I'd like the see some anti tank guns in action.
