First time posting anything on these forums, so please bear with me if this has already been discussed or fixed, I haven't seen anything on it. The SDK editor exports textures as .dds files, and I want to convert these into .jpg format. Any DDS viewer/converter I have tired can't read the textures I export to my hard-drive, but, somehow, I can see previews of them...just when I double click, it asks me what to open them with, and I don't have a program that can view them in full size. The ONLY reason I am trying to convert the .dds textures is to make a uniform of my own personal use for my avatar in another game, called SL, as a personal clothing format, which I can do if I have the textures in .jpg to edit into SL clothing. Walking around ingame as a Russian private would be pretty cool. Can someone help me out here?

The above mentioned Plugin also works for PaintShop Pro and I believe for Gimp as well.

The gimp plugin is a separate plugin. Search the forums for "Gimp" as keyword and my name and you'll find my post including the link to the gimp plugin.

What game are you using the textures in? It'd be pretty cool in like the Sims2 or WOW
