Default Underhand Grenades

What situations, in your opinion are they useful for?

I use them to toss smoke grenades over cover in Danzig and blow up the sods hiding behind walls in Lazur. That's about it.

Well,I cant remember any "real" examples, but I usually use underhand for close range throws, but the key is knowing when to normally toss and when to underhand...

I drop grenades on halftracks in Makhnovo Village that way.

I find the underhand throw very very short, so If I use it its usually to pretty much drop a grenade somewhere. i.e. through a doorway or over a ledge

Yeah, the under handed throw is too short IMO, however i've found it useful for throwing over the wall on to the docks in danzig.

You can charge it up some and it won't be quite as short, but it's still not quite the gentle lob it could be. I use it to toss things in windows or just over walls sometimes.

On Lyeskrovy, as Russian, the underhand toss is great for lobbing grenades into the Communications Bunker through the small slits.

I find underhand to be really useful on Danzig, especially on the river edge. As a German I'll underhand grenades over that high wall onto the ledge next to the river to clear it out. And as a Russian I lie prone next to window ledges and underhand grenades over them and into the counters in some of the shops. They are also useful for dropping down the stairwells in the command center.

I find the under throw is the perfect way of killing yourself and several team mates. I always get the grenade stuck on a window ledge or top of the stair and have to run for my life.

Aw, man. All this time I've been throwing them overhand when I kill myself and my teammates! How could I have been so wrong?!

Underhanded throws are nice. I like underhanded throws. Heck, I even use them down stairwells. I show them love from time to time.

The problem is ... They don't like or love me back.

I have the same problem as Recce most of the time.

Found a new use for it.

Pitch it over some sandbags when a rifleman's on the other side wondering what to do when you're prone on the other side.

Danzig if I play as germans to get them to land on the other side of the wall at bridge head (where the boat exit ends).

Otherwise short thorws or if I just want to drop nades down from a window at people below

No, BuddyLee, no.

Proper method is as follows:

*Bayonet to the face*

*Victory Dance*

Okay, the actual proper method:

Pull out grenade.
Prime grenade.
Run at enemy.
