Default Sniper Elite

I've just got "Sniper Elite" for my Xbox.
In summery it is a sniper\sneaking game in wich you are playing a German sniper in WW2 , fighting agenst soviets.

I'll try to see if this game has something to offer to RO...

Probably not. While Sniper Elite is a cool game its not on the realistic side of things.
I played the demo on the pc (the first three levels) and it was great fun. I was searching for the xbox version too (mainly for co-op and splitscreenmultiplayer. Hehe), but it was too expensive for my tastes so I´m still waiting for it to become cheaper. How much did you pay for it?

Now that I played the demo I´m not too sure if I even want the full version anymore. What really bugs me about the game is that the enemies are always in the same locations. Where´s the replayability there? Tactical shooters should always have (slightly) randomized enemies.

I played the demo (three missions) on the hardest difficulty. It was pretty tough (not realistic wise), but still very fun.

L337 Snypoor would've been a cooler name, missed opportunity.

It felt to me like a normal FPS where your main weapon happenend to be a sniper rifle.

The is much more unique than a "normal fps". Its biggest difference is that it is so unique that it isn´t even an fps...

Great game and a really friendly community. It was a damn shame the devs never coughed up with a patch for the game, even after they said they were working on one. On the hardest difficulty it is quite a challenge. Bullet drop, windage and the need to lead a moving target were all well modelled in the game and I quite liked the bullet cam effect too.

If you didn't play it on the hardest difficulty you just didn't get the most out of it.

It ****s on anything but that.
