Default 2d tree facade needed.

Ok i have tried and failed miserably several times to make a convincing looking snowy pine tree facade for my map. Everytime i do it i end up with chunks of background etc. If any has a decentish one lying about or is willing to make one youll get a magical brownie frome me.

Thanks

The area of the alphachannel tends to contract some, hence showing background too. Try making expanding the alpha a bit onto the actual texture so that when it expands it expands to show texture, not background..Hmm weird explination, hope you get it.

One way that i use is, to create an empty map and place a tree mesh into it. Then toggle bUnlit to true, take a screen cap with printscrn and paste into Photoshop. the background should be all black then you can use select>select range and select the black then hit ctrl+alt+I (inverse selection) and copy and paste that to a new layer. Now you can use that to make the alpha map. and voila you have a masked tree facade.
