Default General vehicle unwrapping question

Hi,

So, as the Grant gets closer to completion, I'm starting to think about uvw mapping and unwrapping.

Here's the question:

To save space in the texture, I want to map both sets of tracks and wheels to one "space", right?

What's the best way to do that in Max?

I don't know Max, but one of the best ways is to:

- delete all duplicated parts (wheels etc) leaving only one,
- create UVmap for single existing part (single wheel),
- multiplicate this part (program should duplicate it with the same UV coordinates, as originals has) and place new parts in correct position in space.

Check if Max duplicates polygons with the same UV coordinates and problem should be solved.

Good luck!
