Could you also make a ZiS-42 half-track for the Russians please?

Ha , The first search about your Zis42 got me a cool 3 view of the halftrack.
If i would also have such a nice one from the Opel Blitz i might do your Zis later.

This might help you with the front. You'll have to cobble the back together out of photo's.

model as much of the chassis and basic drivetrain (ie drive shaft, differential, suspension, fuel tanks, etc...) as you can, so it will look really uber fancy.

So are you planning on skinning this and releasing it as a static mesh for RO?

Actually I think 3000 tris is not at all that much for it. Don't think it would need that much of optimizing.

daschewy, i will contact you soon.

still a few small things todo (example:holder for the shovel) but except that the model is done. Next step will be texturemapping and skinning (if i donīt find a skinner)

If you;d skin it and release at least one SM version that would be great cause I know I would use it at least a couple of times in my map. just two things: make several different snow and non-snow texs so they don't alll look like clones.

Excellent!

Everybody has been wanting a large troop transporter like this, now all you need to do is make the russian version

They can be used in large combined arms maps.
