The Eastern Front Operations campaign will begin on Monday, 11/13. This Realism Unit Community campaign will pit 5 German units in an offensive against 4 Soviet units defending The Motherland!

The first EFO was a LOT of fun, and gave our units weekly battles against enemy units with realistic game settings including one life per round per person, limits to support weapons and artillery, and achieving tactical objectives deciding victory in a round.

181st Tank is the only Soviet unit to feature combined arms in our organization. Good tankers, infantrymen, and recon scouts are always welcome to join!

181st Tank salutes =213= Clan for an excellent battle last night!

We fought a battle with "Eastern Front Operations Campaign" Realism settnigs including the one-life-per-round feature that makes EFO battle so intense at a personal level! With no re-spawns, your mistakes take you out of the fight for good until the next round starts.

At their defense of Snowy Forest, =213= won 2 out of 3 rounds in a VERY close match that came down to 1 man per side left hunting each other down for the win. Well fought, =213=!

At 181st's defense of Ogledow, 181st Tank won 2 out of 3 rounds of tank battle through the hedgerows and hills of that map, with crewmen of damaged or destroyed tanks stalking armor with Panzerfausts found on the battlefield!

Great fun and an excellent training opportunity for all of our new recruits to get some trigger time in before the EFO campaign starts up again on 11/13.. Glad to have you =213= guys fighting with us last night. Hope we see you in EFO before too long.

Our "181st Tank Brigade - Tank Maps No Bots" server is running the updated 181ARAD Beta 5 map and it rocks!

Increased vehicle load outs, custom tank skin graphics for the Soviets, all infantry classes available, and a much expanded playing area with no minefields out on the flanks is part of the fun. We were making 1200-1400 meter tank shots last night and just loving it!

Good stuff.. drop by tonight and check it out.

Well, not exactly in the Recon Scouts, as, sadly, my recon team is full.

Victory at Barashka and Stalingrad!

181st Tank salutes 20th Panzergrenadier and elements of 5th Gebirgsjager, Grossdeutschland Division, and the 369th Croatian Infantry Regiment for an excellent battle tonight!

We fought our battle with "Eastern Front Operations Campaign" Realism settings including the one-life-per-round feature that makes EFO battle so intense at a personal level. With no re-spawns, your mistakes take you out of the fight for good until the next round starts.

At our meeting engagement at Barashka, 181st Tank won 3 rounds in a tank battle that limited each side to only two dismounts. Accurate sniper fire from the German team caused some casualties and made our TC's keep their hatches buttoned. This command and control problem for us to work through made for some excellent teaching points for our tankers. Well fought, Axis team.

At 181st's attack at Stalingradkessel, our Tankrider Platoon won both rounds of an infantry fight through the damaged buildings and intermittent mortar fire of that map. An excellent performance by our Scouts allowed our Desantniki to take out the enemy automatic weapons positions to clear us for the final assaults. Nicely done, Tankriders!

Great fun and an excellent training opportunity for all of our new recruits to get some trigger time in before the EFO campaign action begins. Glad to have you 20th, 5th, and GD guys fighting with us tonight. Hope we see you in EFO before too long.

I am glad to announce that the 181 Arad final version has been uploaded to http://www.maporchestra.com/ The map has gone thru many changes in it's development. the game play as it is now bares very little resemblance to the original Arad. I hope you enjoy what we have done. Support for this map can be found at our website at www.181tb.org

One note this map was created for online use. Bots ae not supported.

Default Victory At Bondarevo!

181st Tank salutes 11th SS and their reinforcements from 20th Panzergrenadier and 9th SS for an excellent battle tonight in the opening round of the latest "Eastern Front Operations" campaign.

At our defense of the Bondarevo sector, 181st Tank lost the two opening rounds to a very well coordinated infantry and tank attack on West Farm and Bondarevo Village. Well done by the German Team.

As assuming a defensive posture was obviously not working out for us, our Brigade then began to conduct spoiling attacks with our tanks. These rapid thrusts into the enemy's lanes disrupted their attack plans, let us engage their armor in the open at both short and long ranges, and 181st Tank won the next 4 rounds in a row.

Great fun and an excellent opportunity for all of our new recruits to get some trigger time in during our first EFO action! Thanks again to the Germans for a great fight and my congratulations to the gallant troopers of 181st Tank Brigade for their EFO Round 1 victory.

As a newbie, you fellas were also very accomodating. I'll definately be making the 181st server a priority when logging on at night
