First time I played this worked fine. I played on 1280x720 (a few notches down from my native resolution, 1366x768) and it stretched to fit the screen, meaning it was blurrier, but there were no black borders.
I don't know if it was a hotfix or what, but now when I use a lower resolution, it doesn't stretch, and I get black borders around the screen. Nothing on my end has changed.
