Default Skinning

I looked at the http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/Ps...mapped_Texture link that was posted in another thread but I am not getting it. It sort of says that you can't do bump mapping but is tells you how to do a pseudo bump mapped texture.

I have a skinner that has not skinned for RO before and he asked if you could use normal maps and speculars when making the textures. I wasn't sure after reading that link so I thought I would ask the highly intelligent people that read and post on these forums.

Can you use normal maps and speculars for the skins for RO?

no you cant.

the fake bump maps are a trick that combines different shaders etc to make (static) objects look like they are bumpmapped.
