Default My wishlist after new patch

Since the new patch is a little disappointement for me, I'd like to influence Devs a bit by making this list.

In this order:

- give us old class-names back! (I know, Devs promised it, but I had to write that )

- bug fixes (blind shots, smoke going throught walls, cliping etc.)

- new uniforms and tank skins (I now, this is eye-candy, but for me it is great drawback from mod days; realistic uniforms /now, uniforms are very ahistorical/ would gratly improve my gaming experince)

- fixing armor system/bouncing; it is better now, but still some things should be repaired: su76 (unrealistic bouncing/thoughness), PTRD (too powerful), t60 (still too powerful), panzerfaust (too weak)

- longer respawn times (a little bit more fear of death, please)

- longer delay when changing from driver to gunner in tank

- add new maps (some early war, CA map, where Germans are attacking would be nice; and, pls, remake of RO-Kiev and RO-Jucha)

- slower reloading/bolting when moving

And most important thing:
Please, do not make CS-like "improvements"

learn how to use the editor, devs probably have thier hands full

Many good suggestions.
Reloading when crawling.. should be quite difficult

Too many smoke nades active simmultaiosly. - should not be able to have more than 2 smokenades active pr team.
Ie commander can not throw smoke before his two previous ones are finished smoking.
This will permanently stop smoke spamming.

I like unfocial maps, but they are not played in ladders and leagues.

No way, I prefer it so much now it's in English! Or it should at least be an option in the settings, I prefer to know what kit I am, I understand some of them are obvious, like the rifleman, sniper, and assault trooper, but for other things I sometimes don't know if I'm an assault trooper or a squad leader!

Your suggestions belong in another game.

Also, the Panzerfaust may be weak but you can fire it so fast it might as well be semi-automatic.

- NO! You are already at a penalty when solo tanking as the gun does not reload unless you are in the postion. If you are going to add that, you might as well not allow postion switching at all. I would like to see a delay when entering/exiting the tank though.

- Slower? You can't sprint while reloading now and bolting is just automatic. After firing a few 1000 rounds, a soldier can bolt and reload his weapon sleeping.

And what the hell is that last comment? There is nothing CS-like about this game.....

There are two ways to solve the problem - slower movement while reloading or slower reloading while moving, I prefere second solution.

I remember mod version 1.3, where we had more realistic map (not showing your position, not even showing if strategic point is being capped, no commander markers etc. just simple map) and longer respawn times on most of maps. When Devs changed these two features, they made two little steps towrds cs-like gameplay; this is only small example of directon of RO. Changing class-names to english is another one, maybe some other beta1.X veterans would post more examples, but it would be pointless - I just do not want to see another realistic game converte into arcade shooter (yes I remeber DoD beta1.2, which, little step by little step, converted into DoD:S)

But your missing the point...after using a rifle so much, a soldier could reload fast while taking a crap and wiping his ***. Loading becomes quick and automatic. He doesn't NEED to focus to load quickly. No, it's not any harder for him. Like I said, you already can not sprint while loading. So in effect you do have a penalty already.

Only two things I have a problem with. The PTRD is too powerful? How so? I don't use it a lot but when I end up getting stuck with it, it sucks.

I can jog while reloading batteries into a cd player, filling my tobacco pipe, and loading a bb gun (not all at the same time of course), and so forth, a soldier who does it a bajillion tmes should be ablt to do it while wandering around. It's not like he's using tweezers and stuff, I could see unjamming a gun, but just loading it up while walking *****ly? Come on. The crawling thing maybe, but if he held it in a different position I'm sure he could do it while moving forward and still being prone.
